RE

Religious Education is considered to be a vital ingredient of education at Turves Green Boys’ School and forms part of the ‘broad and balanced’ curriculum provided for students throughout Key Stages 3 and 4.

Programmes of study cater for the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of the students ,

enabling them to form responses to life and to experience and ask questions about the world and the universe in which they live. Students are given the opportunity to develop and express their own

beliefs, values and opinions while learning tolerance and empathy towards the ideas and outlooks of others.

Through a variety of learning experiences, students will encounter The six major world religions at some point in their education.
